Trade Support Specialist - Amsterdam HQ

The Trade Support Specialist (TSS) plays a pivotal administrative support role within the commercial department. This position is essential in ensuring seamless internal operations and delivering high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders. The TSS collaborates closely with Traders, Product Managers, Finance, Quality, and Logistics to ensure that internal processes are efficient and aligned with customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities 

Administrative Excellence: 

  • Manage contract administration. 
  • Maintain accurate records for position reconciliation and currency hedging. 
  • Ensure all documentation is complete, compliant, and accessible. 
  • Acting as the first point of contact for traders and product managers, providing updates.

 

Internal Customer Focus: 

  • Proactively support internal Commercial, Finance, Quality, and Logistics teams by anticipating needs and resolving administrative bottlenecks.
  • Facilitate smooth contract flows and internal communications. 



Process Optimization:
 

  • Identify and implement improvements in administrative workflows. 
  • Support ERP and IT system usage (AX Dynamics or Microsoft 365 preferred). 

About you

  • Minimum MBO degree. 
  • 1–3 years of experience in an administrative role within a commercial environment. 
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Microsoft 365 is a big plus).
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, service-oriented mindset. 
  • English is our main language, yet a command of the Dutch language is a plus.
